no it is not. the only difference is the moniting of your r/v/m. it sits like half inch lower. THATS IT.

i did search and read a little bit about the lancer windsheilds but i heard that is it a little heavier which isnt much of a problem but i have read some people, depending on the installer, have had issues with it. im not really familar with glass and i wasn't albe find too many answers when i searched so i thought i would just see if anyone knew off the top of their head or have had replaced their windsheilds with something other than oem and have had good luck with it.

dude I had to get my windshield replaced and I just took it to an automotive glass repairer. They just used a regular Lancer windshield and I didn't care because it's just glass and if your nearing 300 to 500 horsepower it really doesn't matter how much your windshield weighs. Am I right?

Mine is cracking. First I got 2 little stone chips on the racetrack, and now I have a big crack running down from the top of the windshield down to about the middle, at an angle. I doesn't touch the stone chips but runs near them. I'd like to replace it. Insurance won't help, I have a $1000 deductible. I don't want a heavy windshield from a base Lancer on my EVO RS that I track all the time. Any ideas? Thanks.
