i do plan on gettin a flash but at this point i dont justiffy spending 400 bux for a custom tune or 200 bux to get taht extra maybe 10hp or 20tq....reason being is because i am done modding for the winter and come spring i will have an alky kit complete ic pipig and some other little things which is when i will most likely get flashedd...i as well think number is a little low but hey power feels nice for now and should be plenty to get by the winter...when i dynoed one of the gentlemen at AMS said that a guy put down 360whp with an alky kit so if i can hit that or more i will be happy...

to go a little of tpic do you think the stock clutch will hold up? i dont ever launch my car most of few races i have encountered are from a roll....i bought the car with 15k and ive launched like 3 times and car has 27k now....lets just say that the previous owner didnt abuse the car would the stocker hold up that power for like on the roll pulls? i am tryin to avoid gettin a clutch as long as possible....
I wouldn't count on it lasting much longer, especially after you do the alky kit and get over 350whp. It is possible, though, if you never race it, but that's pretty gay...
I was there the same day, and put down 347hp and 353 tq @ 3850 rpms with your similar mods and alky w/ dynoflash. The before and after effect with the alky kit was huge in the mid range. It hits 26 psi instantly anywhere around 3,000 rpms in all gears, but does drop off to about 22 at redline. Alky w/flash might only be a 20-30 hp gain over what you have, but 50lbs of torque is a huge difference on the road. For example if I rolled you at 65 mph in 3rd or 4th I would jump you by 2-3 car lengths instantly because of the extra torque.
For $900, I felt that it was a great mod, and it will come in handy in the future when I get a bigger snail.

With a flash, the AFR gets dropped while RAISING the timing manually so that you never drop below 7-8 degrees of timing in the mid-range, which provides a LOT more torque (peak torque is at 3600-3800) along with more area under the entire power curve, although peak HP (6300-6800rpm) is relatively the same.
no flash just yet...now that i see how you can squeeze more tq and hp with a flash probably will go that route....just cant justify spending the money right now....as mentioned above i will as soon as i get the alky kit and a few other mods
I think its hard to justify the price of the AMS intercooler by dyno, but to truley see the gains from the cooler I believe you actually need a "real world" amount of air flowing through it.
Also this is not to mention that part of buying the cooler is for better response, the stock tube and fin intercooler is more restrictive than the AMS bar and plate, so half of the gain you get (response) is unmeasured by dyno.
Buy the AMS alky kit and flash next season!
