RIP to my Evo 8

thats right...

it was pouring today and I was on my way to work when my car lost control on the wet pavement and spun into a forest.

the engine was untouched, if you popped the hood it would be crystal clear but when you look at the passenger side, its all squished in... luckily I was untouched.. besides a little whip lash and the shock that car is totaled now.

I don't know for sure but everyone says it can't be fixed the entire body is bent which is interesting because I didn't feel hitting into a small tree do that to the entire side.

I'm so mad right now I can't believe this happened... I had 17k on my Advans with little thread still left on it and was ready to swap out my winter tires this weekend but its too late now... I guess it couldnt handle the wet roads...

what's next? I don't know.. I don't know what to do at this point, luckily there was a state cop near by and he could see a little of what happened and told me its ok... you got insurance and your ok... just get another one... because I was going 45mph on a road most people go 60... 45 is the speed limit btw..

well it's not that bad...at least there is a cop that can testify to your insurance that you were driving the speed limit.

do you have G.A.P. for if they total it out?

whats GAP?

i really wish they could fix my car since I put alot of money and time into it... it would be a shame if it was all lost..

i'm driving a mazda6 rent-a-car and i'm hating every moment of it... mostly because its an automatic... the rep there told me it has the automatic gear changing crap with no clutch.. yah its lame..

GAP coverage... insurance paid to cover the gap between what the car is worth (insurance estimate) vs. what is left owned on the car (pymts).

It's not an AWD problem. Most advans go out around 10-15k. Advans suck in the rain/snow, especially w/ 17k on them.

Pm if u plan to sell ur winter tires, if u already bought them.

i really hate to blame the advans.. i really love those tires never gave me problem till now... but ofcourse as time goes its less and less effective.

I really hope i have gap coverage because I still owe a crap load on that car... i been making 580 payments every month.. paid for about 1 year.

I have 17k on the car itself.. i don't know how much its worth now.. will I get money back for mods?
