abs on the evo???

abs on the evo???

it started snowing here in pennsylvania and the roads were a lil covered.is this with all evos or is it just mine the abs is so damn sensetive it makes driving in the snow so dangerous.if u bairly touch the brakes the abs goes off does everyone else have this problem?

Infact this morning when I was going to school I had to brake for a stop sign and i tapped the brakes and the damn abs went off. It happens man, but what can you do?

Its not the abs, do yourself a favor and spend some time learning about tires.....

DO NOT USE THE STOCK ADVANS FOR WINTER!

By the way, the braking system on the Evo is quite advanced and does a great job, given its stopping tires appropriate for road conditions.....

ABS is coming on due to a lack of grip. Unless it is really slippy, it suggests your tires are crap

the ABS is supposed to go off, thats the whole point of it, so you DONT loose control and end up sliding, just hit the brakes hard, the ABS will take care of everything.

I have all season tires and I had no problems driving to work this morning?, and I was on back roads north of Pittsburgh in the Treesdale area....They were a little slick but it stopped just fine
