What? You should really get someone on here to help you, removed a sensor, that doesnt sound right. I wouldnt drive it until I got clarification, especially if the engine light is on. I feel for ya man, ARMY here too, but why are you installing stuff when you arent even there.........? You should wait until you get back man. Anyway, cant give the setup for an MBC, but for stock setup the turbo & wastegate hoses T off and go to the celleniod, the hose from hte bottom of the intake goes to the cellenoid, and the hose from hte BOV goes to the connection near the top of the engine. Good luck.
Ok i just talked to the guy who installed it and he told me that he took of the stock boost cellenoid and left the harness hanging that connects to the sensor on the boost cellenoid. He told me that i dont need that becasuse i have a MBC now. but the check engine will still stay on!!!!! he is going to give me back the stock cellenoid so i can connect it back to the harness that means that i still have to cap both prongs off right!!!! What to do?????????? Help!!!!!!!!!
An MBC does not cause a CEL, nor does it need any soleniod removed. Look in the how to's section, find out how it is wired and send the shop the diagram, tell them u want it done that way (there are two separate ways if I remember correctly. Failing that, ge them to put it back to stock and get your money back. You can do it yourself when u get home.
