Damn guys, we have to convince him, or else he might not join our community. How will we ever get along without him?

Simple. 06 STI has plastic brackets on there liquid filled motor mounts!!!! And you say you do not trust Mitsu. That is why I am getting another EVO instead of STI. Gee let me downshift or launch once or twice hard and have Suby deny the warranty because you were racing on it????? But they have in the mags advertisements that say 300 hp STOCK FOR NOW. They encourage you to race by there advertisements, but do not back there product. Enough said.

Just take a test drive. You won't need much convincing after that.

I second the test drive. I didn't even consider buying an evo until I rode in one. My wife has an STi, but I like my evo better.

whatever you do dont buy this car.. seriously, I dont want anybody else to find out how ridiculously superior it is to anything remotely near its price. There is no cheap subsitute for the evo experience.

How is it embarrassing? It's a stupid question, anyone would respond the same way. He should read about both cars, drive them and decide, we're all just going to tell him to buy an EVO and STi boards will tell him to buy an STi.

First stop writing like you are in kindegarten. If you want a car that is descent and does not need alot of maintenance stick with what you have. If you worry so much about company support you are not ready for a Mitsubishi.
Oh, the irony.

My head hurts from reading that post. Please choose an STi. It's already like a 2nd grade English class in this forum.

Lol, I don't think this guy is going to come back. This thread might as well be locked, it is going nowhere.
