Thanks for all the replies. THis is a very hard decision. Before I saw the EVO in person I was leaning heavily toward the STI. I have not even had a chance to drive the EVO yet, but there is something to it. It seems bigger and I like the interior. The STI seems like a smaller car...

There are alot of refinements to the new 9. You will not regret your decision to buy an EVO 9.
For autocross the low end you get with the MIVEC will help you tremendously along with great suspension and steering geometry that Mitsu spent millions in engineering...
