Winter storage and car cover for the Evo ???

Hi gang

I plan on storing the Evo this winter. I was wondering what all I needed to do. I filled the tank with gas. Some recommend jacking it up and placing wood under the wheels to prevent the suspension from fully unloading. Others say - wash, wax and cover. I will move it from time to time, so the tires don't develop flat spots, but i have them aired a little over recommended pressures, just to be safe!

I want to buy a car over for my Evo as well. I know the "stealership" sells one , but I was wondering if anyone on here knew some places online to buy the same cover from a dealership or any aftermarket ones. I don't trust the $20 ebay ones coz I have heard they scratch the car and I do not want to deal with that. Please advise.

Thanks a lot!

calcarcover.com. I bought the cheapest one they have with the storage bag for it and I love it. It has a spot for the antenna and fitment is awesome. Im not sure if they have one for the EVO 9 listed on the site but there really shouldnt be that much difference in the size of the cover.

Also if you plan to store your car I would add some fuel stabilizer if you dont plan on driving it very often.

Thanks! How soft is the inside of the cover? Well, I plan on storing it for 3 or 4 months till snow is done. Good point - I wonder if the IX bumper is much different from the VIII dimension wise?

IMO, anything over $100 bucks for a cover you are going to use twice a year or so is a waste. But if you want to get a really good cover anyway, the calcarcover.com place seems to have really good ones.

Unfortunately, my garage is filled with 2 bikes and a 3rd that is being built so no room for any cars in there.. (its like frikin biker buildoff in there LoL.) So I'll probably be getting the stormweave cover from calcarcover.com for mine...

im also storing mine for the winter................Put some fuel stabilizer let the car run for 15 mins after putting it in so the fuel stabilizer in so it gets through all the lines. About the tires i was talking to a friend whos buddy has muscle cars that he only drives maybe 2-3 months out of the year and what he does is puts down a coupld piece of cardboard for each tire then he puts a square piece of carpet over the cardboard and then he parks the car ontop of the 4 pieces of cardboard/carpet. That what im going to do. This way i can park it and not have to move it again.
