Fixed a rattle on my own today!!! Yay

For the first time ever this morning when I started my EVO, I had a loud annoying rattle. i figured that it must have been the DP rattling against the lower arm bars, and lo and behold when I jack the car up this was the case.

I was kinda shocked cuz I'm just only running a JDM 2.75" Espelir DP...which was guaranteed to clear everything on my EVO...but when I looked closely The gap where the rear bar was so tight that I couldnt even slip a quarter in there.

So I go to Home Depot got some thick washers and installed them, and voila, rattling gone...and my car sound quiet and normal again....

Thanks for reading.

Do any of you guys recall what the torque specs are on those lower arm bar bolts?

when i had my dp installed on my 03 evo... they just bent the lower arm just slightly to let the dp clear.... worked fine, and no noticeable performance difference and no noise.... aside from the twin plate clutch rattling

I fixed a rattle today also and my car rides are now finally semi-peaceful once again. I have to somehow find the other little demon in my car that constantly bugs me. I know it is coming from the passenger side chair, but I can't find where it is coming from.
