Talking Most Powerfull Evo 9.......so far

Have an evo9 owned by a customer Joe here, we put it on the dyno with the basic mods. Intake , Full Exhaust, boost controller. As delivered and run it baselined really low on the stock calibration for torque, could indicate something going on that merits further investigation.
Either way there was a dramatic increase in HP and Torque from reflashing the ECu with the Ecutek Hardware. The evo9 is a different animal from the standpoint of Ecu technology, the ignition mapping takes some figuring out but it's not rocket science.
This car will be back on the dyno very soon with a few planned changes by the owner and it will be checked for boost leaks etc as time did not permit this.

The dyno sheets for before and after are here:

All on 22-23psi boost on pumpgas, baseline runs at around 20.5psi

I am sure there will be a little stir but it will be sweeter when it goes back on the dyno.

A stir? ... We've been seeing Evo IX dyno sheets posted up almost daily. We all know they rule. What's the fuss about?

The raw numbers are higher than we've seen, but the IXs hitting 300+ on Mustang Dynos are making as much actual power, but the numbers themselves are lower.

Thanks for the conversion WARR!!!
Man these Evo 9s are awsome, I mean the car feels awsome on the street, pulls so nicely to redline.
They did something to the 9, the chassis even feels different.

That is what it put out, never checked the mechanics of the vehicle.
It is what it is.

That's nothing...have you seen the specs on Hondas? They have like 150hp and 47lb torque.

For such a safe and conservative tune I cannot believe these Evo 9s make that with such ease.

Look at the difference between the baselines of an evo8 compared to the 9, the evo 8 flatens out and seems to run out of breath starting at around 6k, the 9 just keeps pulling. I assume this has to do with the mivec?

Easy, just means the torque is good higher up the rpm scale. Mivec optimizes the torque where it counts
