That is the strangest law I have ever heard of. I think you are confused. Maybe confused with the debt:asset covenants on your private financing arrangements?

I wouldn't pay $800 per month for the Evo.

The S4 though, would be nice.

I'm assuming this is a small corporation, why not by the car yourself, and lease a different car as a daily driver??, maybe leasing from jersey??? either way, your lease for the evo is too high, give us the paramaters. only way i figure you are paying over 800 a month on a lease is on a rare 1 year lease.

I don't understand this law. So you can't spend over a certain amount, so you've decided to spend more by leasing at butt raping prices???

The first thing you need to do is finder a cheaper lease. I can lease a BMW 7 series for that price! And if this is going to be a company car, just get one that makes sense because an evo as a company car just doesn't make sense. I'd pick up a used 200X Toyota.

S4 since you have to lease the car. Better business car for transporting people. What people are forgetting is either car will be covered under warranty for just about everything. Lease the S4 and go buy an 03-05 EVO on the side!!

If you are considering a confortable, stylish and reasonably fast daily driver the S4 is a great choice. However, the B6 S4 V8 does not have the butt-dyno quick acceleration like the older S4 Twin Turbo or EVO have. I had also heard so much about the awesome V8 sound, but was very disappointed when I drove it. Do remember that you'll have to live with 13 mpg city as compared to about 20 mpg (EVO).

EVO is your pure performance and fast-n-furious car; my lap times with my chipped S4 are about 2-3 seconds slower compared to my stock EVO. The EVO is a crazy fast and awesome handling machine. Choose based on your priority. I've had both; got tired of the S4's mechanical issues and chose raw performance over luxury. I'm very happy with the EVO.
best experience reply so far...

if you can wait til spring and get an RS4 that would be cool, but I think it will be a lot more expensive, but fun, if expence is a priority, EVO, the only way i would buy a audi would be if i could afford an rs4 or an a8l both are way to expensive for me though, so ill say EVO

I've also owned a TT S4, and I totally agree that it's luxury vs performance. The weight distribution of the S4, ok just the WEIGHT of the S4, make it an unlikely choice for the twisties. It understeers quite badly and the awd drivetrain is built for safety (and cost savings), not speed. Traction control has to be turned off if you're going for speed, and at that point it's open front and rear diff, which is pretty terrible. BUT the S4 has a great interior, and it is fast in a straight line modded. The phatbox mp3 option, requiring no plugs or adapters at all, is something I miss terribly in the Evo. If I were driving long road trips, no doubt I would choose the S4.

The Evo is designed to perform. It is loud, comparetively uncomfortable, and the suspension is rock hard compared to the S4, but if you like to drive, it's the car you want. I should disclose that I sold the S4 to buy the Evo so my opinions are certainly biased.

The last factor I'd mention is cost. A new V8 S4 is quite overpriced, I think putting the extra $ into modding an Evo 9 will put a bigger smile on your face!

Tell them to tweak the less with a 1$ buy out at the end. Get the S4.
