possible misfire?

i was driving last night with my buddy, i was on the highway and ran full boost from 2nd, 3rd, and then in 4th about 5rpm my boost spiked to 25psi and it felt like i misfired. I have 3" turboback, injen intake, turbosmart duel port bov, walboro 255 pump, and a hallman manual boost controller. I have an appointment at turbotrix on monday, i haven't called them yet to ask but i was wondering if anyone has any idea what is going on, it only happened a few times, b/c after that i didn't go over 4k rpm. As far as turbotrix they lowered me to about 15 psi till i get tuned so could that have something to do with it? TIA

A normal human usually can't tell a misfire. What you had was probably a boost cut/fuel cut. Just turn it down and have it tuned before you blow something up :P

man..... that was a short deployment. Looking at your post history, looks like you have plenty of computer time, but still shy away from the search function.....

was it a little studder, or a complete loss of power? If it was a stutter, check your plug gap and possibly gap down to cure it. If it was a complete loss of power, you hit boost cut most likely.

Until they take a look at it there is no telling. It could be a number of things. Probably fuel cut or plugs need to be gapped smaller.

Is this on race gas? What turbo?
