I'm not going to try passing off that I am a expert driver, all I can say is that this was the only time I didnt find my car completely predictable. I have been driving a lot in the snow and this was the only time my car did something I didnt want it to do. Some of you choose to rip on me for not having snow tires, all I can say to that is I'm thinking Vis CF hood, JDM headlights, C-West front & sides and wider fenders for my RC-II's in april. And those of you that actually show concern and understanding, thanks dudes. I would do the same for you, and lets hope I never have to.

I guess if you just wanna do donuts the Advans are good
I live in in WV tho
A lot of the backroads I take have mountain on one side and a 50ft cliff on the other...
sorry to hear that man.. hope everythign works out for you.
on a side note.. i went and had some fun in a empty parking lot before work today on the advans. 95% of the time i was in complete control. it has snowed 2 times since i got my evo. both times i had to drive in it because its my only car , and i can definatly say it held its own. sure you cant be a idiot, but if your cautious like you should be in the snow you will be fine.
the rut is what killed your car, not the tires.. i hate driving in ruts. i had a wrangler last year and it felt so squirly when i would be driving in a rut.. just touching the side of a rut will give you a uneasy feeling and cause you to correct it sometimes throwing you in the wrong direction .
still even tho i feel somewhat safe on the advans i am getting my snow tires put on tomorrow. not because i need to , but its just the right thing to do.

Nice lil slap on my face to be reminded that Evo's are on the edge already and need respect. Our cars are much like sportbikes that way...on the edge and in your face if you make the wrong move. As you can see the stupid crash beam wasnt a factor in this lil wreck anyway.... it was all down low. Leave it off and let your IC breath!

fixed!
