Well we are proud to present that another evo is joining the family lol. I got my girlfriend a red ix mr. So far I am impressed with the look of the red mr think its the nicest lookin stock evo i have seen so far but not sure if im diggin the 6 speed yet and god damn does stock feel slow LOL(prolly cuz im used to mine). We will post pics tomorrow as AJ(il2az) is gonna take some pictures.........on another note I am mad that us viii owners didnt get the nice interior that ix offers it is sooo much nicer and actually has more cushion than ours does..but i also think there are downfalls....ie dont like the wing bein painted on the inside rather have carbon fiber...

Intake, TBE, MBC, and a Flash on the IX and it won't feel slow anymore, it may even feel as fast as your very modified 2003 EVO

Yeah, the stock red MR IX is a very good looking car. I did not used to care for the MR wheels, or red cars in general - but it works really well together on this car. Congrats.

 

Congrats on the purchase! I have been trying to convince my wife to get an 05' STi. I was a Subaru guy before i got my EVO so a part of me still wants another STi.

Well she is the wife for the most part lol but yea we will do basic mods to this one. Now that we have another one to drive the engine is gettin pulled from mine and gonna get stroked with either a 35r or 42r not sure which one yet so i dont think there will be much debate as to whos is faster lol

Congrats again. I must say your Red Evo MR is the best looking stock EVO I have seen so far. I remember about 3 weeks ago when I stopped at the dealer with my girlfriend and they had your car in the showroom, it was simply bad *** looking.

Anyway, yes , have AJ taking some pics, he knows how to take pics for real.
