My dealer was Jim Yelverton Mitsubishi in Gulfport M.S. They are having to rebuild the entire dealership from the wake of Hurricane Katrina. They were allocated a gray MR 9 that I picked up at invoice for two reasons. #1 the hurricane basically leveled the dealership and #2 I know the owner and he has no time to waste trying to sell cars for MSRP when he is to busy trying to get back into business....Yes, it was an extreme situation but I guess it worked out well for me....

Just wondering how you got this deal, when the invoice is around $32,900.

edit: Did you trade a vehicle in?

You would be suprised how many dealers would be willingly to sell the car at invoice or near invoice. If you have cash in hand or third party financing you have some good bargaining power.

Best time to buy a new car for 06
car dealers r desparte
and most ppl's old cars still running fine
interest rate is high
cars r overall ugly and pricy ( most cars $ above 17K unless u dun get AC )

how? i sent emails to a bunch of dealerships and simply took the best deal i found, which was invoice price. took me only 2 days. internet salespeople can usually offer you a better deal than the schmoes you meet on the lot.

p.s. invoice is actually about $34.8K.

Actually you can get a better deal when you finance through the stealership. They make more than you think on financing!
