Post up EVO IX prices.
Guys, any reputable high volume dealer should be willing to deal around, and maybe below invoice. I believe Mitsubishi has a 2% of MSRP holdback. Maybe someone that knows for sure can verify the rate.
Special orders or new on the lot vehicles, they will see all of the holdback.
The used car guy is going to take you to the hole if you trade, and the finance dept. will make money off your loan if you finance.
Win win for everybody!

To get it for $33.8k, it would mean you didn't pay the destination charge and paid less than the total invoice price for an MR including the MR package and zero lift kit that comes on every MR.
Max Madson Mitsu off of odgen ave in IL, Dealt with Mark over there. MM is one of the best dealers in the chicagoland area. Out the door I was at 36,500 give or take..i dont remember the exact figure. I got a Graphite Grey one. Love this car!

When dealerships want to get rid of cars they are willing to lower there prices because they have had the car on the lot for a long time. The guy told me that they are not willing to sell the ones they are getting in for this cheap. As long as a car is on the lot for a long time than you can bargain.
33.8k for a 06 EVO MR?
your full of ****!
the dealerships pay invoice for the cars
typically when sticker is 36,894, they will drop the price some
but they are not going to sell a car for less than they bought it for
33.8....unless you got a trade-in or something funky, that's def not right
the invoice is higher than that
anyone who got an MR for under 36k got a nice deal
my .02

Well, I paid $37,300 out the door for my Evo IX MR. That includes tax, title, registration and other BS fees like documentation, titling fees etc. I don't think I overpaid since just the fees were about 3400 bux. Tax is 6% in my county here.
They do have $1,500 cash back on them. So if you negotiate to close to invoice and throw that in the mix you're getting close to some of these numbers. That and you have to figure not every is SoCal or a major metropolitan area. My local dealership has had Evo's sit around for months at or below invoice. They don't have a 9 yet but, I went in to talk to them about one and the told me they would do invoice plus the cash back and give $21,000 for my 8. It's starting to sound really tempting.

I'm not always sure what people mean by "invoice" price, so if you paid 34.8k, then that's not so hard to believe. Interestingly, I paid full MSRP for my 05 MR, and it was only 35k.
Base: $33,165
Zero lift: $ 267
MR Package $ 700
Destination $ 595
TOTAL $34,727
i paid $34,727. are we clear now?

p.s. i HIGHLY doubt anyone got a IX MR for $33.8K
