Let me know when you decide, I may be able to save you some money... or check out the vendor forums for auto dealers.. you have some guys advertising sick prices in your neighborhoods.
Best regards,
frankly, with the price of the V-8 M3 going up into the upper 60's, the M5 in the close to 100's, I'd be PERFECTLY content if the Evo X was 38-45k IF and ONLY if it came with the S-AYC like on the JDM spec. . .in addition to a high compression, direct fuel injection, 4 banger with MIVEC on intake/exhaust. . .****, I could probably selll my VIII for an awesome price when the X comes out because a bunch of ricers would NOT be willing to pay luxury car prices for an EVO. . . anxiously waiting, deliberately holding off on mods. . .

The '06 GSR Enkeis are supposed to weigh less then the '03-'05s but I don't know by how much.

"GSR and GT trim levels run on Enkei 17x8JJ lightweight 5-double-spoke alloy road wheels that are 0.15 kg per wheel lighter than those fitted to Evolution VIII MR."

So stock VIII wheels are the heaviest, followed by MR's, followed by stock IX's RS and GSR. It is odd that an upgrade for a IX MR would be to swap to IX GSR/RS wheels which actually weigh less. They aren't using MR BBS wheels anymore and no longer have a MR model.
The only claim a "longer diffuser" for the turbo, as opposed to the magnesium compressor wheels in the GT/RS turbo which I'm assuming we don't get. I doubt any significant weight changes are due to the turbo.

Evo8 wheels = 20.50 lbs
Evo9 wheels = 20.17 lbs
MR wheels = 17.74 lbs
If you notice, the Evo9 wheels are .33lbs lighter than the Evo8 wheels, which is exactly .15kg. (2.2kg=1lb). It really would make no sense for the Evo9 wheels to be lighter than the lightweight, forged BBSs. What do you think?

Does anyone know why it gained 11lbs.????

I think you meant to say "lighter" and (1 kg=2.2 lb).
I also think that BBS forged wheels are lighter than the Evo 9 wheels. This is because when I ordered the JDM evo9 GSR, I had to take the BBS alloys as an option and pay extra. So, it shouldn't be heavier than the evo9 enkeis and still cost more.

Yes, they shouldn't cost more if they are heavier, but there's also more to the BBS rims than weight. Being forged means they are also much stronger. Usually, forged means stronger AND lighter, so I think the Mitsu site just has a misprint when stating the comparative wheel weights.
