Someone pulled out in front of me today and I slammed right into them It messed up my bumper, left quarter panel, left headlight assembly, and hood. I guess the only thing good is that no one was hurt, and it wasn't my fault. Hopefully I'll have my car back by Christmas. Oh well, this sucks.

If your FMIC or IC piping was damage, see if you can get an aftermarket FMIC (or pipes) out of it.

 

Believe me I will. I don't think they're damaged though. I looked at it, and it really isn't that bad. I was almost stopped by the time I hit the other car. If I can, I'll try to go by and get pics tomorrow.

wow. that's almost exactly what was messed up in my accident. no mechanical damage but a nice $5000 cosmetic repair job. oem parts for the evo are stupid expensive, and probably even moreso for yours. good luck man, sorry about the accident.

same kind of thing happened to me kind of a old man backed into my rear corner of my bumper. went to his insurance co. and collected $1000 for it. turned around and baught a evo9 bumper from gruppe-s for 699 painted for my 05 evo. thats a bad *** bumper plus 300 bucks in my pocket!!!! things might just work out in ur favor!

 

this is a bad week, i almost got hit last night too, leaving a stop light, 3 lanes of traffic, me inthe middle, this lady, had to been at least 275 yrs old, decides that once thru the intersection she is changing lanes... no signal, just gonna go with it... didnt pay attention that i was right next to her.... i slammed on my brakes laid on the horn, she kept coming, i swerved at the last second halfway into the other lane to avoid her clipping me... if she wasnt so old, the choke slam was coming when we stopped at the next light. there instead of an eye test needs to be a reaction time test and hearing as well once you get about 50... geesh

 

Yeah, I got into an accident and I just got another stock FMIC and pipes, I regret that now
