was there ever a straight answer as to why the USDM IX didnt get the intercooler spray... yet the japan and UK versions did???

..it may only provide minute gains, but in my view still a cool feature.

 

I have never felt a difference with mine on or off lol. I dont even use it anymore.

 

I'm pretty sure it was because of one of the differentials, needed the room for it.

Plus the IC sprayer doesn't do much, most people with 03's just use the tank for meth/alky injection now.

 

Give me your ACD and I'll give you my meth tank errrr sprayer =p

 

not even the 05's have em so why would the 9

 

buy the pump...and a switch....mount hte pump in your trunk and you'll be cool like the 03/04 evo' guys...better yet...get a alky injection kit and mount it in the same spot and expect 30-50whp gains depending on mods...i have a friend that got 10whp from spraying his intercooler sprayer during a dyno ...not worth it...do meth kit

 

is right...that is exactly what i did with my big *** tank...used it for my meth kit

 

Use the Windshield wiper fluid tank i the trunk. Extend the hose to the intercooler and buy the 03 sprayer parts. then mount it and put the sprayer botton on the ash tray. One of my customer did this. it cost his around 200 dollors and to 5 hours to do. But even he said it doesn't do much.
