My wallet...j/k

This is my 2nd Evo, 3rd Mitsu and the only problem that I had is the brake caliper peel 03VIII and the warranty, I just traded the car since they don't want to fix it.

 

The only thing broke in my Evo is the Driver's side wallet. I also have an intermittent broken passenger that whines about going too fast in turns and such (this makes a loud schreeking noise (sounds like screaming then followed by a SLAP!).

Front lip. That is my fault though.

 

nothing broken
things that are worn out:
calipers peeling bad
someone hit the passenger side re-quart bad ...left no note or anything
brake pads need replacing...brake light comes on now and then

other than that ...she's a bad mamma jamma

 

I wonder if this is a common problem on the Evo!?

 

23k miles and nothing is wrong.

 

7100miles and the only thing i see is that the paint scratches easily but other then that everything is great!!

 

26,000 miles....

Broken: nothing

Worn: Calipers peeling (under warrenty), windshield has a tiny crack (insurance is going to cover it), the driver's seat fabric (suede) looking a little faded; any ideas how to restore

Concerns: only one.... at idle i hear a little rattle (not interior), when i push the clutch the rattle goes away (any ideas)

she still runs strong

 

what springs and how many miles.. i need a rough idea how long my 03 struts are going to last.. i've got tanabe gf210's and i put them on in june 03....

 

oh and for you guys that have the peeling calipers.. here's how i fixed mine... i was forced to do it because i don't want to take my car to the dealer...and btw.. it's holding up great.. some good spirited driving and no discoloring or anything...

That would be the throw out bearing. Not really a cause of concern, just replace it whenever you replace the clutch. Mine has done the same thing since it had 5 miles on odometer.

 

My wife's heart. She says I love my Evo more than her and that I still don't listen to what she says and blah, blah. I only caught what she said about the EVO.

6700 miles and no problems!

 

It shouldn't be a throw out bearing as that bearing doesn't doesn't see any load unless the clutch is depressed., but most likely just normal gear noise which is very common on the Evo's 5sp transmission. Again, no cause for concern.

 

noisy new transfercase... hot A/C.... Exhaust leak.....Constant on and off CEL light for misfires
