I installed my HKS SSQV yesterday, it comes with the kit, just order the EVO 7 bov kit, it fits perfect. they come with a round metal thing that you put in the hole where you toke out your factory bov. It just fits perfectly.

and this kit recirculates the air so your air sensor doesn't cause you to run rich???.. also where did you order it.. ?

Is it easy to swap back and forth from it to stock in case of any service needed? I just got off the phone with a HKS performance shop and they can order it for me if I want it...Just wanted to know that first...

I think the HKS SSQV vents to the atmosphere.

Actually it can be either way...You can purchase a recirculation fitting that lets the air back into the intake..Straight from HKS website

Nice, thanks WannaRace. DO you know how the HKS SSQV will sound if you use the return pipe?
Concordmits said that the Greddy type-s sounds nice even though it vents back into the intake.

If anyone tried the type-s for the 95-99 eclipse, please let us know.

As has been said before in this thread, your car will run rich if the BOV vents to the atmosphere and it is very simple to swap BOVs stock to aftermarket and back.

JUST MY 2 cents

I was taling to the guy at Boch Mitsu and he was sayign if he got one he would first change the airclearner, and the blow off valve. So i asked if that woudl void warrenty and he said it probably wont if they install it so it might be worth finding out if they do it will they cover it but it may have just been this guy cus he was deffantly a tuner type so i dont knwo for sure

Since the Greddy Type-S BOV for the eclipse (95-99) works, that means all BOV kits for that car will work on the EVO VIII right....

Anyone know what colors the Greddy Type-S BOV comes in?

Where can you get an HKS BOV for EVO VII like WING240 did?

Go here for a list of authorized HKS Dealers: http://www.hksusa.com/info/?id=1143

If that doesn't work, just go to www.hksusa.com and check it out
