Blizzak LM-25, ...Opinions please ?

Anybody hear have any experience with the new LM-"25"s. It hasn't snowed very much around hear on LI -yet- but it's coming like it always does. When it does snow around hear though it's generally mild ...generally speaking. So, I was thinking that the LM-25's were a nice compromise between a serious winter tire and an all season.

I got the LM-25's put on my car before I picked it up...Haven't had a chance to test them out in the snow yet...they are holding up real well in the wet conditions though. Pretty quiet at highway speeds too. If you look on Tirerack.com you can see other peoples opinions as well.

i have lm-22's on my car right now, i am not sure how exactley they differ from the 25's, but i couldn't be happier with them.

more dry grip than i had anticipated, and in the snow they get superb traction. i was enjoying tooling around the mall the other during a snow storm watching everyone else slide all over like they were on ice skates.

tires are only slightly louder than stock too. i expected much more noise from them.

so i am very pleased with the 22's. i am sure the any of the blizzak line would be excellent.

This is my 2nd season with the LM-25s. They feel more like an all-season rubber with a snow tire tread. They are V-rated after all. I've used blizzak mz-02s and my wife has yokohama guardex's on her car. both are more capable in the deep stuff. But when it was dry, they were a little squirmy. So if you do winter driving mostly on dry or wet pavement and want to be able to go and stop with decent confidence in snow, then they're perfect.

My sentiments exactly, although mine are quieter than my Advans. Hasn't snowed too bad in Baltimore this year, but was caught in a crazy storm last year. While everybody else on the beltway had their flashers on and were doing 5-10mph, I was in the fast-lane doing about 50-60mph without a care in the world! LM-22's get a from me!!!

not sure how the 25's are, but i got the WS-50's and i couldnt be happier....i can brake extremely firm in snow and not have ABS kick on. i spun into a ditch with the advans (no damage thank god to the evo) and the next day, blizzaks...great investment, and i cant imagine the LM-25's being anything less than good
