If the RS came with power windows I'd buy it. I don't like the ABS and the stock radio sucks anyway.

I got 20k for my 03' on trade in.

This will not be my daily driver, as its going to be my autox and weekend driver.

I will not even respond to the question of swapping power windows and locks, if your thinkin about this buy a GSR. The Evo has awesome steering that creates the illusion of better handling. Um...actually the front LSD makes it handle better!

I no longer have a Type R, and this RS is closest to my old Integra in terms of driver feedback.

I've never really modded my cars, just lightweight wheels and some race tires and pads. This car is going to be a great autox car.

I would figure, I dont think I could daily drive a car without a cdplayer/radio.... just me, but that thing is gonna be SOOOO fun for autox/track driving, have fun with it dude! I would love to drive that thing, how much does the new RS weigh?

Only because you are cheap i know for a fact if you rs owners had a choice of a rs or any other evo you would not pick the tin wagon with a turbo errrrrr. i mean the rs, dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the car but if your a average joe and this is every day driver your just a pretender. The reason i got the 2003 is because i was the first in the north west to be smoking your wack integra and civics!!!!!!!!

How about anyone who purchased a 2003 Evo was an idiot when you know they are going to get better every model year. Should have waited until 2005

I think the 9 is a great car and the RS sure is clean looking. Great choice......I just couldn't suck up the $9K difference for nearly the same car especially when the TEN is on the horizon.
Then again if its only a weekend car for you $9k probably doesn't seem like that much to get a brand spanking new car that can pretty much own most anything on a road course.

Well, you see, it wasn't meant to be taken literally. It was meant to show that your original post was retarded. I'm glad to see many people agree with that assertion. Thanks for playing.

christ. Dont you just love how a perfectly good thread can be turned into a pile of $hit due to some overopinionated morons?

When are you RS haters gonna get around the fact that the RS is built as a base for a race car and if someone wants to go that route then whats wrong with it? The RS is lighter, has the front LSD, is geared quicker, etc. If someone wants to live without power windows, AC, etc then why not? Hell, I've pulled everything out of a car to include the window washer bottle to save weight for better track times -AND- I drove that car everyday. It was brutally loud, hot, and an unforgiving ride - and I loved every minute of it.

For some people, its perfectly fine to have to hand crank the windows down to let air in on a hot day. That doesnt make them cheap, morons, or idiots. As the Original Post stated - the RS is more of a drivers car - its a direct connection to the road, with no frills to take away from what you are in the car for... driving.
