FWIW, I'm surprised Mitsubishi has kept the 4G63 in the evo for as long as it has. Dont get me wrong, its a great motor - I'm just amazed that they've kept it all these years.

There were rumours a few years ago in Japan about switching over to one of the GDI engines. Never heard anything else on it though.

really sad, isn't it? After some odd decades of the evolution of the engine, the X better live up. But hey, maybe it'll be like Honda's new K series (i.e. better than the B series whether we wanna believe it or not).

What do you care if I want to get my info from a different source (one that is run by the manufacturer) and NOT read a bunch of threads filled with the wide variety of bull$hit that runs rampant on this site.
