How much is the EVO windshield? It was posted that they put you on a waiting list? Do you have to get it from the dealer? How much?

 

Over $500 from my dealer and he could not even get one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just get the Lancer windsheild!!!!!!!!!

 

I waited all of 2 days to get my evo windshield put it. They brought the lancer one by mistake, said it wouldnt fit, went back to the shop and brought me the evo one back in half an hour

 

i got a chip in my 09 lancers windshield, was so painful to have that happen. does $317 sound right to have it replaced???

 

Holy thead resurection batman! and depending on where you live 317 seems alright, take it to a few places and get estimates, or just call em up, never settle with 1 estimate

 

what about the diy kits at auto repair stores such as autozone?

 

hey guys what about if the back glass had the "spider webbing,? a rock or something had hit my back windshield and i have to replace it. would i have to get a new one from dealer bc some of the glass places told me that they dont have a back windshield for my evo bc due to having a the rear wiper blade? is there any kind of way i can put regular lancer glass in it without the rear wiper blade?

 

call safe lite autoglass 1 800 800 asap they are nation wide almost all insurance companies will pay for the repair and wave ur deduc. pm me if you have any questions (i work for them )

 

yeah i really hate this. I have had multiple hits with rock chips from cars. (i'm usually not even know where near cars when Im driving). =/ My next big trip i'm taping my car ill have pics of that soon

 

safelite replaced my windshield for 150 installed with an evo windshield

 

They quoted me $330 in NJ.

 

depends on the state and the brand of the glass for pricing

 

that sucks im always looking out for rocks...dont drive so close behind the car or truck thats in front of you.

 

I love my comp deductible $50. They are coming monday to replace mine. Standard Lancer glass is the way to go. Screw dealer only glass BS
