Mine has done that also, like if i set it for 4 they move then stop then move up and down and up and down until i move the switch again, i think its a problem with the servo-motor or the programming in the headlight control unit, not too sure. do the headlights move together right, or does that right one just stay low.

I always thought that the adjustment feature was only for the 2005 SSL package evo's. Hmm, you learn something new every day.

Most of the 2003s came with SSL already off the lot...didnt have to add it on. My headlight doesnt move, but my left side is lower than the right. I tried adjusting it, but it wont move...

That is exactly what I had and how I would stop it from going up and down. Dealer replaced the whole right headlight assembly to fix it. (Under warranty)

According to the work order I have it's the internal adjuster motor that was broken.

check the ground wire on the passenger side, beside the front of the fender.

I have an '03 and haven't run into this problem. I did however do the manual adjust on 'em to make 'em higher up. Have you guys that are having the problem done this?

Well, no. There was no SSL package for '03s, just the S as in sunroof was an option, but no leather or upgraded sound system is available. But all '03's have HIDs.

Headlight problem

This sounds like it might be a switch problem. Test the leads from the switch while this is happening and then again when it is not, or leave your lights where you want them and unplug the switch.

best bet is to take it to the dealer if its under warranty. Usually there wont be a problem since you havent upgraded the headlights lol
