Does your milage get any better after getting a ECU flash?
Has anybody notice any improvements?
What kind of milage are you getting on a full tank? I got 260 on my first tank.

You will get better gas mileage because they are taking a little fuel out of the map. Evo's run rich, like 10:1 from factory. flash leans to 11:1 or so at full throttle. BTW, cruising w/ or w/o a flash afr's should be 14:7-1 or so, its when you get into boost that save you gas, if you can call it that.

What gas? WOT after flash was just too much fun! If i didn't know any better, i'd think there was a hole in my tank. Oh well, i didn't buy this car to make 40mpg.

yup...+100 should have bought a chevy sprint for gas mileage. if you aint boostin' whats the use of having a turbo??

okay sorry for being a azzzz, but after my flash from WORKS with the 269 cams i get about the same gas mileage from the factory. about 20mpg city and highway. it gets down to about 18mpg if im driving VERY spirited on the freeway-playing with other cars...

Bechbum, you should mention that you drive really far each day on the highway at cruising speed. I don't want people thinking they could or should see MPG that high. The vast majority of us only see 19-21mpg. In fact, even with no boosting for a full tank of gas, I've never gotten anywhere near 26-27mpg, which would be 340-350 miles per tank (I get 220-250).

I'd prefer pretty much any nickname other than "wart"

My mileage actually went down as I can't help but get on the throttle whenever I can.

Same here, i get about 210-220 per tank. I got my fuel pump installed without a tune ( cause i am getting my intake and exhaust here real soon) and i predominatly stay out of boost and rarely vist WOT. All the driving i do is town driving too.

Warr is the real nickname. Warrtalon just came about from my DSM days...

These are fine with me:
Warr
Warrtalon

I drive 3 miles to work and back, twice a day. I got ~19 mpg b4 flash and TBE. Now with flash and TBE I get ~17. And that is driving very sensibly.

I got like 280 miles on my first tank (long trip, highway miles), I was quite happy, then it went down to 190 miles (all my driving is in Miami, stop and go, hot weather, etc.) Now I'm on my first tank after the flash and I think I won't make the 190 miles mark, the car is so much fun to drive now that being out of boost is like driving an Taurus...
