Ok time for mods...where should I start?

I have held off on buying parts solely because I need to buy the wife a house. Well I am getting closer with that so I would like to know where to start with mods. Exhaust, save for turbo upgrade, cams...I have no clue! What I have so far...

1. Greddy Intake
2. Racing Brake 2-piece rotors with Project Mu NS Street Pads
3. Polished exhaust header

Also nothing for performance but I have a Autometer Boost gauge and Air/Fuel Ratio gauge on a 2 gauge steering wheel pod.

I have mostly electronics in my car. Pioneer DVD player, RF subs etc.

So where do I start?!!

It all depends on how much you want to spend. A good start would be TBE, MBC, and Flash. This wouldn't set you back to much and will provide some very good gains.

1. 10.5 hotside

2. tbe with a high flow or cat delete

3. some sort of ems and tuning

4. egt gauge, wideband 02, and data logger if you decide to tune on your own

then you should decide how deep you wanna go.

search around there are lots of cars putting down serious numbers.

Ok...what does TBE stand for? I know MBC is Manual Boost Controller...performance benefit over an electronic one?

Shouldn't I do a flash after some mods to save some money? I know flashes you have to pay for each one right?

And what is a LICP?

Thumbs up

what are you looking to do? track? drag? just modify?......I would get some kind of flash, tbe, cams, lower ic pipes and get your car custom dyno tuned.....I wouldnt touch the intake, stock is fine-maybe a drop in filter. Have fun! Oh yeah...I would baseline your cars power on a dyno to view the increase your mods bring you....

I am mostly interested in track Silvershadow though I do no know of any road courses close to Miami. I love to get into the twisties more than dragging. Dragging gets old after a while.

I do search and I read through most of the threads on here everyday in all the Evo forums. But there are so many options I almost get overwhelmed with them. I figure I would turn to some of the more experienced people on here.
