Ugh. Help/advice needed?

can someone take a picture of the stock radiator from the front of the evo? I just got my car "fixed" and on the repair order sheet w/ all expenses, radiator ($776.00) was listed but upon second look at my car, the radiator thats in there has damage to the fins EXACTLY in the places where it hit the manifold heatshield/cover during my accident.. leading me to believe they left my damaged radiator in there and pocketed some of that sweet insurance money.. (I want a picture of the front of one to verify if there was always a metal bar that is welded to the radiator) also some advice on what to do would be helpful. I'm reluctant to take it back there again because of their shady ways (also my ash tray full of change was cleaned out).. maybe better business bureau? state farm (my insurance agency)? the actual shop?

P.S. Does 450 dollars for a one way tow (probably around 10-12 miles) seem reasonable?

$450.00 is a crapload for one way with only 10-12 miles. Contact BAR. www.smogcheck.ca.gov. Did you have pix of the vehicle from your adjuster before the accident? Your adjuster should have taken pix of everything that was damaged in the accident. Have the shop show you your old radiator.

I am not sure if they deal with outside of CA. I would contact them and see if there is something similar in your state. I appologize, I thought you were in CA. I did not look at your sig, sorry. It was smart of you to take pics! That way you have proof if your adjuster did not take pics. I would contact your adjuster and show them the before and after pics. If you have proof that it is the same radiator and the insurance company paid them for a new radiator, that is fraud and your insurance company should be very interested in that!! Insurance companies spend alot of money to find out body shops that do this, because the insurance companies have to spend more money which results in higher insurance premiums!

a tow for 10-12 miles even on a flat bed shouldn't cost more then 50 dollars.
