No but the mivec head (and the turbo system) are....

 

Nah, it's just the turbo itself and the coolant passages in the head. The MIVEC helps up to around 6000rpm, but peak WHP is reached higher than 6k rpm. The area under the curve is certainly improved by the MIVEC, but the "numbers" do not reflect the MIVEC's help.

 

the 9's are nice but i dont get why people are so damn amazed.... with mivec, its like having an upgraded cams.... it aint magic u know.

But the MIVEC isn't really active above 6k rpm. The higher peak power is coming from the larger turbo.
