Evo 9 bumper with greddy ti exhaust rubbing

I have a 9 bumper with greddy ti exhaust (rolled lip version) and it is rubbing on the left side of the exhaust hole. Just wondering if its just my install or is it everyone. cus i havent had a problem with it melting yet cus its pretty cold here in the northeast but when summer comes im screwed. so want to fix it by then. thanks

i dont have the exact combo..but hav an angled exhaust and IX rear. What happened on mine was the last "fin" diffuser corner was hitting my exhaust canister..forcing the bumper to bend in(dont know if you have the exact problem) but i jsut took a dremal to the corner of the fin and cut it off

You will have to slightly modify the bumper if you have either Greddy Ti, racing or the one that I have Apexi N1!!!!!!! Just go out and get a dremel and shave some plastic to fit the bumper for you exhaust.

I have the Ti with the 9 bumper and I have no rubbing issues. It looks fine to me, I am running a cat delete pipe and its starting to get close to melting my bumper but no rubbing.

i have the evo9 rear bumper with the apexi gt-spec exaust and i had the same proublem. instead of cutting up a beatifull bumper i just took the catback off cut about 3-4 inhes off of it and welded it back together. now it doesnt rub and look goofy sticking out soo far!!!

i had the body shop rehang my exhaust and they ended up shaving some of the exhaust cutout away so it looked even and would never rub...i say you take it to a body shop and have it taken care of it worth it...

you need to realign your exhaust... why is everyone wanting to modify the bumper when the exhaust is the thing that is mobile? you can't move the bumper but you can move the exhaust.

Greddy Ti fits OEM bumper perfect. if you have the JDM bumper then your own your own. Suggest modding the exhaust vs. the bumper.
