Wideband 02, which is best

I am going to buy a wideband 02 sensor and display within the next week or so. I was just going to buy the AEM UEGO, but I read some things that am making me want the plx 300 more. I have a few questions about all of the widebands.

1. Which is the most accurate
2. Which is the best for tuning with SAFC 2.
3. Which is the easiest to install (need to install bung, etc.)
4. Is it ok (Accurate and safe for the wB o2 sensor) to be put in the stock 02 location.

Thanks in advance.

Can't comment on comparisons, but I bought the PLX M-300. No matter which one you buy, you'll need to weld a bung into your DP, unless you're running a test pipe. If you are, then you can use the rear O2 sensor bung, and then feed the simulated O2 output from the M-300 to ECU pin 75. Leave the stock rear O2 sensor tied up under your car, since the ECU can detect if you've removed it.

Do NOT put this in the stock O2 location. If you put it in the front, it'll burn up in no time because the Bosch sensor can't withstand temps above 850C. Like I said above, you can only use the rear O2 location if you have a test pipe.

I would think that most of the widebands out there perform about the same.

I'm working on modifying the M-300 to mount it in my dash, and it'll look very nice when it's done. This is where I'm at so far. I hope to have it totally finished by the end of the week... trying to install M-300, car alarm, and ECU+ all at the same time.

Zeitronix Zt-2 is probably one of the best. $399. Its a lot cheaper than Motec & pretty accurate. It can read correct AFR up to 8000rpm. Got mine from Road Race Engineering of Santa Fe Springs, Ca in the LA area.

This is just an option, but if you want to go the clutter-free route, check out my remote display how-to article on NCE. You can enjoy the wideband reading of the M-300 display without adding yet another box or gauge somewhere. I'm not saying it's the best way to do it, but it should work well for me.
