Please post in the right forums!
I am getting confused, there are so many forums that anything I post anywhere seems to be deemed inappropriate and promptly shuffled off elsewhere. I post something in Evo general about a boost controller, its tossed over to Lancer Evolution Engine/Turbo/Drivetrain. Then I ask a question a few weeks past regards arrival of the Evo in Florida, which is tossed over the the regional forum, which of course gets very minimal traffic/exposure. Finally I post in the Engine forum about installing the Buschur exhaust and that post is promptly yanked over to Reviews, Part Reviews. That makes less sense, as its an Evo specific part that others had been talking about in the Engine section. Now, hopefully, anyone who visits the Engine forum has the psychic sense to know that the info they are seeking is somewhere else buried in one of the 47 other forums on the site.
How about I just email you guys any proposed posts and you just throw it wherever you want?

The Mods are just organizing where threads should be. Your Buschur Exhaust thread is pretty much a a Review of that Part and the aftermath. Parts Review are for the Parts Review Forum. That's why we have it. I mean if you read your thread, your really basically giving a Review and a recommendation at that.

Those threads are in the right place, if you know where to look. If The Mods moved it, it's for the sake of putting threads where they should be.

As for the Evo General forum getting more exposure: sure it does. All the people who arent sure where to post, post in there. If people started using the regional forums for regional dealer (or other) questions, it would take some of the mess away from the General forum. The same goes for technical posts that are posted in General.

come on
it's not always easy to decide where or even "if" to move stuff. We've also got some new moderators. If there's something you feel was moved to the wrong place, dont hesitate and PM one of the relevant mods, preferably some one who is online

We're just trying to keep this place a little organized, you know
Trending Topics
yeah the mods are starting to irritate me on that too....just freakin leave it where it is...if it half way pertains to the forum....damn!...not to flame anyone....but it is getting a bit out of hand.....

You may think the thread moves are getting out of hand, but I notice that this board also seems to run much more smoothly than many others I belong to. These two things often go hand in hand.

If you guys would just use the "view new posts" link, you would get an entire list of all threads with posts since you last checked the forums. Regardless of what forum messages are in, you will see them all. If everyone used this method, it really wouldn't matter where posts are located.
Basically if you can't find posts because they are located in the logical place, then you might want to change the way you browse the forums.
