I am new to this so I am trying to get a better understanding! Should I be concerned about 1 engine misfire. I looked it up but still dont have an idea of them severity.

 

what do you mean by 1. cyl 1 or random misfire? how many miles? have you changed plugs
before?

 

I have had it occur only once is what i mean. Also i have not changed the plugs yet waiting for 40,000 miles and im currently at 38,000. I took it to the dealer and I they told me they reflashed my computer and its ok should i still be worried

 

did it do it once after the reflash? if it is a single cyl misfire I rec. replacing the plugs.
If you got the p0300 code, if you got the flash a long time ago they had an update
on the p0300 flash.

 

Probably the infamous P0300 code (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected), I wouldnt worry about it. Some people still get it after the dealer reflash. It can be a pita but its harmless for the most part.
