Turbo Trix Flash?
I had my car done a TT , and Im very satisfied. I road race the car alot and this tune is very rich to keep the car together. Notice in my sig how much power it still made... Mark is the man...

I was tuned at Turbo Trix and didn't have the best experience. My car was tuned in about 30-45 minutes and when I asked to take it for a rip to make sure everything went okay Mark looked at me with a puzzled look and said, "Well.. I just tuned it." As if there could be nothing wrong with his tune.
As few days of driving it on the street revealed a slew of problems with knocking in almost every gear. I called them to ask what they were going to do for me and they said, "Well, can you turn your boost down?" (I was boosting 22-23 psi.. stock STi turby's are only efficient up to like 19psi) I told them that I didn't pay $350 and drive 3 hours to have to turn the boost down myself, to which they responded, "well, it's hard for me to turn your boost down from New Jersey, guy."
Gee, thanks Turbo Trix.. I'm going to get tuned at KTR within the next couple weeks.

my car was custom tuned at TT...it was also completed in 3 pulls. I got tuned the same day as fsugatorbait...
I used a different wideband (AEM vs. his Innovative) to look at my A/F's a month back and I was running off the scales rich as soon as boost hit (<11.0). While I'm glad that my car isn't running dangerously lean like his, I'm a bit displeased that I'm running so rich - my car could have been tuned for more power while still being safe.

Previously I had been flashed by Al and was very impressed. Ill be giving him a call in the next few weeks for a retune.
No offense, but low to mid 12's at WOT is not "dangerously" lean at all...
"dangerously lean" would be like high 13's into the 14's...
anyway, anyone else have further experiences?
anyone specifically get customs flashes designed for the HKS 264 or 270 cams?
im looking into a kaa w/ basic mods (stock turbo, exhaust) and the HKS cams w/ a TT reflash, just trying to see how ppl w/ NON stock cams w/ the TT flash thought.
thanks..
see i know how to tune myself, but im coming from the turbo honda world
... so i'm just exploring options cuz i really dont feel like spending money on a street tune when i can do it myself...but i guess ill just bring a WB & comp tester w/ me when i go to look at the car this weekend ... if the test drive, wb, and comp test all go well then i guess i wont have any complaints.
the dangerously lean comment bothered me so i posted in this thread :P

custom tune by dynoflash as far as i,m concerned is the best way to go! and i,m speaking from lots of experience with big Al,s tuning. He tuned my 03 8 3-4 times (for added upgrades not problems) and my BR 350 IX runs absolutely incredible.(also tuned by Al of course). His mail in flashes are also dynamite.
any freeware flash progs ? there's a ton of obd1 freeware eeprom progs for the hondas but.. not too up to date with all this obd2 nonsense
will big al let me borrow his laptop and let me tune it myself lol
im just too cheap to pay for someone else to tune me thats all no offense to anyone, big al, TT, whomever. this way if it blows, i just hate myself instead of making a OMG ___ BLEW UP MY CAR IM SUING!! thread
