04 EVO flickering electronics.
I'm having this same damn problem! I can't figure out what it is I asked my tuner about it the last time he tuned my car.....he checked everything out with the tactix cable connected and said everything was running how it should and my alternator is fine......i guess im SOL

yah im having the same problem but my stereo goes out for some reason. then if i drop her into neutral the stereo comes back on. i had some corrosion on my pins from the thread posted above. i already rewired all my wires with shrink tubing and all that jazz, yet the problem still persists. just put a brand new alternator on there maybe 3wks ago (90amp i think). any suggestions?

do you have a stock stereo? even on some stock stereo components you could have a high voltage drop/current draw with heavy bass. see if its rhythmic with what you are listening too.
used to happen in some of my other cars with stock components at moderate volumes.
also, its commonly known that automotive electrical systems operate at about 14v even though they are 12v systems. audio component manufacturers have even taken this into account designing components to take advantage of this extra voltage.
