I would love to see Daimler Chysler put that little 2.4L turbo into a little RWD roadster or an AWD compact. It was a damn torquey little motor. Felt like a V8 and had zero boost lag.

From a dig you will definately beat the SRT. From a roll you will probably still beat him but it will be close depending on driver skill (a stock srt will hang with a stock 03-05 evo, and may sometimes pull away from a roll) considering that the new IX is much quicker. than previous models. I'm not biased either because the evo is way ahead of the SRT in many things and I LOVE the Evo. I also miss my SRT though

i havent raced an SRT-4 in my EVO IX MR, but...
when i owned my 2001 Integra Type R, i had a few runs with stock SRT-4's on the highway and they are no joke
my ITR NA was making 192WHP, and weighed 2500LBS and an SRT-4 would put 1 car length on me on the highway doing a 50mph to 130mph pull
when my ITR was supercharged making 260WHP, i ran against a stage 2 SRT-4 and was about dead even until i had to shift into 5th gear at 122 and then the SRT-4 started taking me down.
what, im getting at, is the SRT-4 is a gay piece of **** neon, BUT, ITS FREAKING QUICK!
a stock evo ix, should be able to beat a stock srt-4 on the highway, but not by much
