hey guys, just recently picked up my first evo a little less then 2 weeks ago, ended up gettin an 05 evo rs, wicked white, and coming from an 05 srt4, im greatly impressed already, ( still got respect for the srt's) neways the dealership i got it from, the sales rep who i actually worked with had owned it before he traded it in, and his buddy before him owned it, so i kinda knw a decent amount about the (family chain) neways, the sales rep had said that there may b a tune on it from his buddy but he wasnt sure, and the only thing that is dne (performance wise) is a cat back exhaust, but...the car idles at 800-900 rpms, and i was wondering wat the stock idle rpms were at? ne help would b great, and i thank u all in advance

You can always confirm on the Emission Sticker on the hood on most newer cars.

Please tell me my EVO isn't the only one that revs by a few 100 RPMs on it's own while it idles (especially when the heat is on).

 

everyones will, it's usually when the radiator fan comes on that the rpms will drop

 

Demon, you're the best. I thought it was from some kind of crazy tune. Nobody here has a EVO 9. There are only 8s and 10s here and I never see the pilots around to ask.
