Topgear is back tonight starting at 7pm EST on Discovery!!! Finally some good TV again!!

 

I think this was posted in the OT forum..I think someone said it has new hosts though.

Nice, I will watch it for sure...I like the mates and that one dude who is quite funny on top gear! He is a loser or however the brits say it.

 

Yeah, this is US Top Gear, not the UK one. Instead of taking the UK episodes and rehashing them for US audiences they have decided to do a completely US based Top Gear instead with US hosts and US vehicles. I'm sorry to say that I think it's going to be horrible.

 

According to the program description, tointes shows are old ones (repeats) from the speed channed, and with the UK hosts. One of the ones is where the guy parachutes into the back of the car.

Another one is the Pagani Zonda being test driven in europe,which I know I saw before.

Unless they are remaking the old episodes in US style, but why would they do 4 new episodes in a row

Repeats (worth watching) or US remakes of the exact same episodes (not worth watching).

 

I was mistaken then . These are repeats from the last season of the US rehashed Top Gear. The new season with the US hosts must be starting next week. My bad.

 

Discovery is making a new version (US Version) of the show with new hosts. I doubt these are the new episodes. These are going to be repeats with the british hosts I'm sure.

The US version isn't going to effect the British show, nor the old british hosts.

 

Oh god I hope they don't do a US version. They'll figure out some way to make it a "reality TV" show, and then have horrid cars on it.
