I'd encourage it. A woman who can drive it far more attractive in my book.

I can't speak as to the topic since I am not married, but I would not let my current girlfriend drive my car even if we happened to both be covered on the insurance. She drove my previous car once. From a stop she would rev it to 5,000 RPM and slip/drop the clutch. It was a smelly ride. I traded that car in for my Evo about a week later.

The reason why we got a Evo 9 for the lady is because I let her drive my Evo 8 for a few days in a row, she couldn't resist going to the dealer to test drive a Evo 9. She traded the SUV for the Evo 9.

It really can make a difference in a person, let your wifes or significant other drive them, why not..

There is another young couple here in Tucson that did the same thing, she bought the first read MR in town. Let the girls get loose bro!!

Who marries a woman who can't drive stick?

My wife just gets annoyed at the attention that it brings.

that is so funny, it is so true that you wouldn't believe it. People phisicaly chase my woman everyday, they ask her out, they ask her number and they try to race her. We have a blast talking about that everyday..

My woman is the Bomb, now she wants to get into the motorbikes, she loves riding with me and she wants one now.

I almost always let her read the thread with nearly the exact same title that was started September 16, 2004:

She drove it a week or 2 ago. No biggie, but it does have an exeddy clutch, so that took her a bit of getting used to. Haha, She loves how the turbo spools & it takes off, withought her having to push the pedal any harder.

oh wow a thread as recent as 2004 almost a year ago. god forbid the same question be asked to see what some of the newer members would have to say on this.

as for the question. don't have wife but plan on teachin the gf how to drive stick good enough first but then after that would definintely let her drive. chicks driving stick and fast cars is teh h0ttness. then I'd have an excuse to get a second sweet sporty car.

So bump the old one so everyone can see what the cavemen who lived back then had to say as well as the newbies...
