I would never let my wife near my EVO. I don't let anyone drive the EVO.

My girlfriend doesn't know how to drive stick. When my clutch is gone, I will take her to an appropriate spot and I will show her how. She is scared of the car, though, so I don't see her being heavy on the throttle. But after she learns, all driving is at my sole discretion...

Nothing like the upkeep on a wife, makes the evo seem cheep. Mine doesn't like the Evo as much as her S2000, but does like to drive it once in a while. She does not like the way it shifts (feels like a truck compared to the Honda). She did like playing in the snow (while I was out of town), at least that's what she said she did

Well guys, funny this question should come up... because I used to let the wife drive the evo... and then this happened... (see pics below) You can see from the pics, that she decided to let the driverside door and garage wall get in a fight as she was backing the car out.... WITH THE DOOR OPEN. So anyways, that was the end of that story, letting her drive and all.

I would say yes, but my wife's everyday driver is an 05 sti. So she can drive her own car!

Let the wife drive it? Other way around. She let me drive hers Static: we were in the same boat till last week with an EVO/STi. After two years she finally decided she wanted to go the luxury route and we picked up an IS350. I'm talking over the EVO and now the STi is on the block.

She is my wife and (as much as I hate to admit) it's only a car. I would let her but she is too scared so that makes it an easy decision.

It would have to depend on who you have for a wife. Eva Longoria? Yes! Some dumb fat ugly chick? Hell no! Adrianna Lima? Yes! Another fat dumb ugly chick? Hell NO!

Do you get what I am saying here? If you have a rich b!tch then of course cause if she wrecks it then she can buy you another one.

We are not getting married, (Why ruin a good thing). But anyway, yeah, if my girl ever wantsed to really drive the Evo, I'd let her. She needs to learn to drive a stick though. Had her out a little last summer and she did well.

More practice before I change the clutch out. She never tried the GSX with the 2600 and light flywheel. That would ahve been a nightmare.

I figured it wouldn't be long after getting the Evo that my lady would be begging to drive it. It's happened with the past couple nice cars I've owned. After about a week I say "go for it"....

2 miles down the road she hits and kills a racoon.....Right over it's head, front and rear wheels...

Nothing screams "FUN TIMES!" more than her killing wildlife AND crying!
