i have a few select friends, but for the most part, i dont like girls near my car. they have belts and buckles and jewelry and fake nails! and they think they are a friggin princess in the passenger seat and like to yell taunts at anything that looks "sporty" just because they have the "gurl powah" with me driving.

god, i will never let that girl in my car again!

before i had to sell my evo two weeks ago, yea i let her drive it.

i was a little scared at first, but one night after racing around, she took the wheel, and well she surprised me.

she took off from a dead stop and shifted the old 1-2 perfected, she thought i was mad at first, but i just told her to give her he11!!!

Now we are trying to get the money deal straight (because we have a little girl) and plan on buying another in the furture.

I let my hubby drive it on occasion, he drives the beetle-LOL!
I always read these threads and are amaized at the answers. Have a little patience and teach her, jeez- What does that say about the guys who will NOT let her drive it- saaaaaddd. If she don't want to- ok, but if she does.....
Thats a society problem here, everyone assumes a gal can't drive a manual tranny and the stigma perpetuates. Even outside of the country that assumption is thought. Had a bunch of German Engineers over for a visit and they all were surprised to see an "American " woman drive a manual tranny, let alone my MR as a daily driver. They were very impressed. WTH?
I had to take my drivers test in my dads old 68 VW bus, but the kicker was and is, it has a 911 engine in it, so..... he was a "bad" influence
Lighten up peeps, its not driving the space shuttle

You go girl!!
I put my two little girls in their booster seats and all I hear is "go fast! go fast!" Of course, I don't wanna upset my kids.
As for my wife, she can drive it whenever she wants, but wants to rarely. She's slightly afraid of it.

My wife hates my car, and complains that it is noisy and hurts her neck. I scared the sh&t out of her after the serious upgrades, so she never drives in it anymore. The good/bad thing about the situation is that she can't drive manual, but could not get me in an emergency!! I personally have the mod bug, and want more performance by the end of the summer.

My girl drives my Evo. She takes it to the groceries and to do other errands. When I drink at a party she becomes a designated driver. Besides if she wrecks it, the insurance will pay it off and I will get a brand new Evo 9 MR to replace my old one

Most of the women I know like the car but like others have said, they are scared to drive. I think part of it is the performance of the car and part of it is that they know how much I like my car and are afraid something might happen to it while they are behind the wheel. I worked with a couple of fine *** russian girls last summer, and they loved the thing. They had no cars, or licenses for that matter, so there were a few rides given here and there.
