Would you let your wife drive your evo

If your wife asked you to drive your car would you say:

1. yes

2. no

3. yes and teach her how to drive it.

I didnt want to post a poll because i rather see what you guys have to say.

If I was married and we shared incomes as most married couples do I would have to say yes because I would be in trouble if I said no, and plus you have insurance together and if something happened to the car it would be covered so I would def. say yes to her...

Now since im not married and my gf asks to drive, I say heck no!! she isnt on my insurance and if something happens I get screwed. but again married is a whole new ball game!!

If it was stock, and if I had a wife, I don't see why not. However once a 2.3 and 35R are thrown into the equation, hell no. Not because I give a crap about the car. I just wouldn't want someone i love killing herself because my car got away from her. That is, assuming she doesn't have experience driving it.

Well my gf isn't my wife, but she is scared of my evo as well. We were on the highway and she heard the whine of the turbo and she said it sounded like an airplane. She knows what the car can do and what it's all about, she's afraid to break something if she drove it. But she does get a smile on her face when I am boosting.

i let my fiance drive my evo, she drove my civic with a stage 3 clutch in it and did better than most just trying a aftermarket clutch. she gets nervous because of other people around so she doesnt like to do it unless its maybe in an empty parking lot. but she has taken it on the road a few times.

My wifey can drive better than some of my friends can! She used to race in my GST all the time, so I have confidence in her.

But I can understand where alot of guys are coming from that would not even let their wives look at the set of keys!

I tried. If I try again, I am sure the next stop would be the County Courthouse
