Hallman MBC question

OK, I ordered a Hallman MBC Pro RX about a week ago. I received a Hallman MBC Pro on Thursday. When I contacted the vendor, who I will not name until they resolve this issue, the tech who answered the phone said that the stainless ball in the Pro model is better than the ceramic in the Pro RX because it's better against boost taper. It almost sounded like he was trying to change my mind and keep something I didn't order. Is any of what he said true? Most of the Hallmans I've seen being used on here are the Pro RX model. WTF?

I just ordered mine and it came with the ceramic ball. I did searches before I ordered it and I've only heard of the ceramic ball being better. I also ordered it from a vendor on here.

dont know but i just got the rx kit and it seems to be pretty good.i dont think you can go wrong with hallman. but if you didnt order that specific product i would suggest complaining. then again the pro rx does go for more so basically you got ripped.

The ceramic ball is better. It respondes quicker. I used the metal ball bearing and found it to be a great product.

The ceramic MBC is more expensive than the metal one. I'd send it back and get the one you ordered. The vendor made the mistake - whoever pulled and packaged the product was not paying attention. This seems to happen too often with on-line vendors.

It just makes me mad that he tried to argue with me about why he thought the stainless ball was better like I didn't know what I was talking about.

it is about a $30 price difference, so if he charged for the RX you better get the RX. the ceramic is said to give faster response and more accuracy(up to 1/2 psi)controlling than the steel, but i've heard nothing but good things for both.

get what you paid for the better more expensive version you ordered. dont take NO for any answer. if not tell them you want your money back and never shop with them again.
