What type of clutch do I have??

Ok I bought my Evo used and had quite a few mods done to it, but not sure what kind of clutch is in the car (bought from dealer not the previous owner) Now at idle, in nutural and clutch pedal out I hear a VERY faint/soft clicking/rattle under the car. I then put in the clutch pedal and noise stops completly. Is this an indicator that I at least have a twin plate clutch?? Or is my factory clutch going?!?! lol thanks in advance!

I'm in the same situation as you. Same kind of noise. Have no idea what clutch I have, I just know it's not stock. It's been doing it since I bought it, 12k ago.

also to get a better view you can take the starter out to also check out the flywheel and side view.

A lot of aftermarket kits come with crappy throwout bearings and they make that sound that you're describing.

That noise you hear is most likely caused by a light weight flywheel, and it's normal.

Mine does the same thing. I think its a stock clutch cause it certinly doesnt fell like an aftermarket performance one.
