Thoughts on this EVO?

I'm thinking of buying an EVO IX this summer. But I've also been keeping my eye out for a good deal on a low mileage 2005 VIII or 2006 IX. My ideal car is a TB 2005 VIII or 2006 IX with SSL. I ran accross this TB 2005 VIII with SSL on autotrader, but the price seems a little low.

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this, but I wanted to get some feedback from everyone on here. Too good to be true? Can anybody run a carfax for me?

Thanks

looks nice dude, for that price i say get the VIII, however if you can, the IX is a nice improvement...just be careful with used evos, a proper break in is crucial to the longevity of the car

The price seems a bit low, they also have it listed as a 2 wheel drive coupe

When I was looking for mine I saw one for 18,800. It was an 03 with about 20K on it. I ended up getting an 03 with 18K for 22,500. I thought I robbed them. Just educate yourself. That is key. Oh yeah and learn about the buyer!!

Wow, that is just amazing. I would jump on that like yesterday!

I almost bought an 03 VIII last week. They were looking for 25K for it! LOL! I would have swiped it up, if the clutch was not ready to die!

I would guess that it has been wrecked also. That seems like way to cheap of a price for something with that low of miles and that year.

I would fly down there and drive it. Dog the living sh*t out of it and pay $100 for a local shop to really check it out thoroughly. I bought an 03 with 23k mile for 21k last summer. So it beats my deal and at that price if it holds up the cost of the plane ticket and inspection still put you in a great spot.

that sounds way to low for an '05 with low miles, I would check if it has a salvage title or something like that. if it sounds too good to be true it is...
