you forget about the windows and locks pretty quick. especially DD since you are not unlocking doors for passengers. all you do is plug in your better radio. it is not that much louder and my speed likes to hear my engine anyways. i don't like the wing. you get less attention and less people want to race. maybe its just me. i would like a rear window wiper though and a sunroof would be nice. not for 4 or 8gs more though. my $.02.

 

I'd get an RS and then buy the power doors/windows option from members here for cheap. I prefer aftermarket sound systems anyway, I even replaced the one in my 03.
The only thing that might be a bit difficult to install is ABS/EBD which I'd love to have for the street/tarmac. At that point, it might be easier to strip the normal IX but you probably still paid more and didn't get Alu-roof.

US spec IX RS and 05 VIII RS has standard AC.
