does that seem right to you? a very nicely modded evo 8 which would go for around 19-20k on ebay and on the boards. the guy wants 10,700 for it and will want the money via western union. can't meet you in person and the car is already crated....

come om guys, show some commonn sense. "if it is too good to be true....."

LOL that's Mike Gold's car. but i think he wanted over 25k for it. The one ur looking at on craiglist is a copy scam, just using the pics that Mike already put up. There's another thread bout this already...

DUDE DO NOT THINK OF DOING IT!!!!

I've been looking around places like cars.com for evos for cheap and trust me they are all fake!!!!

The most important thing is that they will ask to send the money to them through western union or some money wire transfer service, that is a big sign right there!!! Wire transfer is the hardest way to track money down so don't do it!

He did ask to use escrow.com but only for half the amount...clearly he only wants 4,000 bucks!

Also...never ever ever ever go for a car that is that low, and who is willing to give free shipping! Shipping is close to a grand on average! No way!

Also look for bad grammar (because half of them are from Europe). They will also never great ur email by ur first name...its always like Hello blah blah blah, not like "hey dave thanks for the email."!

Also if ANY OF YOU GUYS see an evo on EBAY where they ask that you contact them first before bidding, do not do it!!!! It is a way for the scammers to get you to do a transaction outside of EBAY.

HOpe this helps!

Even if it was legit, I would NEVER buy a car that I couldn't drive before hand.

Yea really, I can't believe people still fall for this sh*t. Are people really that stupid??? It almost gets frustrating seeing how some people are that stupid to even consider or fall for this crap. I am not saying I never got ripped off, but for something so obvious... I apologize if I offended anybody.
