my friend moved to nebraska from Washington, and he lived there for 2 years while going to school and kept his washington plates the whole time lol.... got in 1 accident, never renewed his tabs, and no one cared lol. he drives a 92 eclipse gsx.

 

I've been pulled over in NY and MA a bunch of times and never had any out of state problems, other than cops loving to write out of state people tickets.

 

Really in NY it just depends on the kind of cop you run into, some are DICKS and others are cool about **** like that, they might say something to you about it but very rarley will they ever give you a ticket for a loud exhaust.

What ive noticed is that if they see you have a nice car like an evo they usually dont pull you over for that, i notice its the kids driving around in them lil integras with the fart can on them that get pulled over
