Moving to NY from CA
Guys need some help here. Anyone here knows about driving an out of state car in NY?
Questions:
1. How long can I drive my car with my Cali license plates and Cali drivers license?
2. Which should I do first, Register my vehicle at DMV NY or convert my drivers license to a NY one?

You have one month to change your license plate when moving from out of state and as far as registering your car or getting new plates, you do that at the DMV in New York when you get there. They should issue you one on the spot at the DMV.
You can drive with ur CA license its not a problem. I have PA license, registration and ins. but I drive in NY all the time and I have gotten pulled over when the cops run my stuff they have no problem with it.
